Some of his works are part of the collection of Wellington Gallery, others were sold at Annual Auctions of Varley Art Gallery. He exhibits in galleries in Canada, Bulgaria and the Netherlands. Some of his works are owned by collectors in Canada, Bulgaria, Greece, the United Kingdom and USA.
There are two main directions of Ivo’s work. One is drawing on big polyester silk screens; the other is sculptures, cast in bronze. Initially, the drawings on big screens started as projects of sculptures of big size, and gradually developed in individual pieces of art. It is the artist’s belief that two dimensional surfaces actually deliver two sides for the art work: back and front. He is looking for connection between them, using the transparency of the material, in order to multiply the images and to develop the idea of the inside world.
Ivo is commissioned with the award sculptures for the annual international competition Computer Space, organized by the Students’ Society for Computer Arts, and for the annual national competition Bulgarian Website, organized by ABC Design.
